I purchased access to all of School of Motion's courses in November 2024 and immediately began Cinema 4D Basecamp (and Ascent) to refresh my 3D fundamentals, which was very helpful! One of the later Basecamp assignments involved working with Mograph: Cloners, Effectors and Fields in C4D to create and animate a favourite city. While this exercise wouldn't be a big challenge, because of the requirement to create a favourite city, I ended up making new assets and enjoyed building this wannabe Mini Tokyo.

Although I have never been to Japan, I decided to go above and beyond with the task. SOM provided some apartment buildings, business structures, cars, a few trees, a couple of flowers,
etc. (Images of the provided objects are further down.) I added the elements I needed, including typical Tokyo landmarks, traditional Japanese structures, a Pokémon centre, a tranquil park, and several smaller details that are only noticeable upon closer inspection.
