Please note that I don't intend to promote gambling here; only my motion design skills.

This version of the reel was sped up after 2.5 seconds for this showcase.

When the first Jackpotblast brief came to our team in 2024, it looked like a fairly simple .json (Lottie) incorporation into Bally's ventures (websites that Bally's Interactive manages). At first, I worked on the project to create the 'blast' animations based on Adelaide Leeder's 2D designs. After multiple iterations, the project grew beyond its original scope, and promotional materials were then needed to present this new feature to the players.
The above is one of the reels I made for VIRGIN GAMES. The footage was repurposed from the previous year's campaign (by VCCP Agency).
In After Effects, I
• combined all elements after a quick ideation process,
• added the Virgin Games logo on the wall,
• tracked the monitors on the right side,
• tracked the button to add the bright red colour and fireworks,
• rotoscoped the man's hand, arm, and upper leg to add some fireworks behind him,
• added required game footage, logos, and the Jackpotblast logo animation (by Kaushal Kumar), and the winning animations to the front-facing monitors (Kaushal and I both worked on these),
• added fireworks behind the monitors,
• adjusted the overall colours of the video and rendered the final file.

3D Motion Designers on this project: Eva Nage Lacuskova, Kaushal Kumar
Sound Designer: Yeray 'Greenmindz' Cebral
NOTE: The gold diamond Virgin logo, featuring Jackpotblast colours, was animated by Kaushal Kumar. He also handled the final touches on the winning animations that I had initially started. While the .json files we used worked well for the website, Kaushal eventually collaborated closely with the development team to adapt the animations for use in the Virgin Games and other apps.
